Thanks Robbie.  I actually have been meaning to do this for quite some time now but there has not been a book in my vicinity when I have thought about it.  But guess what, now there is…. So, I started reading the Harry Potter series earlier this year and now I am on the seventh and final book… and dying to find out what happens….  So, here is the meme.

Scrimgeour gave Harry a cold, appraising look.  Harry had the impression that the Minister was wondering whether it was worthwhile opening hostilities this early.

I am sure this is nothing new, and I feel that I have seen it before… but I just gotta show it.  Anyway.  This afternoon at work, everyone was raving about this video Rachelle had on her fauxiPhone.  We tried to watch it but since Macy’s is a cellular black hole we werent able to see it all… but that was enough to get me lookin on YouTube.  It really is quite funny to see a video from probably 35 years (or more) ago set to a song from 2006 (Walk It Out by Unk)… and these bitches can move!!  I hope you think the video is as funny as I do….

Here it is, I cannot believe the 3rd year that I am posting Kelly’s Pride picture!  

This year he has asked for a story (of coming out, etc) to go with it, but I really dont have a story that isnt already here on this blog or on the old one somewhere.  What I will say is that I love the “tradition” of it, spreading the love, ya know?  I will continue to honor the tradition as long as he may do it.  Feel free to copy and paste it on your site but be sure to go back to Kelly’s site and let him know so that he can add you to the list!  “Gay” it Forward!

As before on the old site, each time I change the header I plan to show the previous full picture and tell any story behind the picture if there is one.  So, here is our last header.

The picture above of the New York skyline was taken from the water.  We were aboard the Norwegian Gem back in February heading out to the Caribbean.  The slight “out of focus” effect was caused by the movement of the ship and the longer exposure time to capture the picture.  It was actually quite darker outside than the picture appears.  The picture was only cropped it was unchanged and unedited.

Although there seems to be some question about the date, it was always 11/19 and still says so on Madonna.com but the venue and my tickets say 11/20.  We betta figure it out!

 

Update: Ok, it turns out that the date was officially changed to 11/20.  Cool… now I feel better about it.
